Terms & Conditions
1. PURPOSE
These Terms & Conditions govern the process and requirements for requesting authorized signatures on documents related to business transactions, agreements, and official correspondence within Scientific Assistance Corporation (SCIA).
2. AUTHORIZED SIGNATORIES
Only designated officers or representatives of SCIA have the authority to sign documents on behalf of the company. The list of authorized signatories is subject to internal corporate policies and may be updated periodically.
3. DOCUMENT SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS
All signature requests must be submitted through the designated channels (email, document management system, or official correspondence) and include the following:
- A clear and complete copy of the document requiring a signature.
- Supporting documents or references relevant to the agreement or transaction.
- A justification memo, if required, explaining the purpose and implications of the document.
- The requesting party’s contact details for any necessary clarifications.
4. REVIEW & APPROVAL PROCESS
4.1. All documents submitted for signature will undergo internal review to ensure compliance with SCIA policies, contractual obligations, and regulatory requirements.
4.2. SCIA reserves the right to request modifications or additional information before providing a signature.
4.3. The standard processing time for signature requests is five (5) business days, subject to the complexity and nature of the document.
5. ELECTRONIC SIGNATURES
SCIA may use electronic signatures for certain documents, where legally permissible. The validity of electronic signatures shall be recognized as per applicable laws and regulations.
6. REJECTION OR DELAY OF SIGNATURE REQUESTS
SCIA reserves the right to decline or delay any signature request under the following circumstances:
- The document lacks required supporting information.
- The request does not comply with SCIA’s corporate policies or legal standards.
- The document presents legal, financial, or operational risks to SCIA.
- The signatory is unavailable or requires additional internal approvals.
7. CONFIDENTIALITY & DATA PROTECTION
All documents submitted for signature are treated as confidential and must comply with SCIA’s data protection and confidentiality policies. Unauthorized disclosure of any signed documents may result in legal action.
8. LIABILITY DISCLAIMER
SCIA and its authorized signatories shall not be held liable for any misrepresentation, errors, or omissions within the signed documents. It is the responsibility of the requesting party to ensure the accuracy and legality of all documents before submission.
9. AMENDMENTS & POLICY UPDATES
SCIA reserves the right to amend these terms at any time. Any changes will be communicated through official company channels.
